義務教育から英語を学んでいるのに英語ができない～ English Plusの英語力向上のためのレッスンでの７つの取り組み - その２．レッスン内外での質問や学習方法に対するアドバイス（英語編）

English Plus is a small school located in Tamachi, Tokyo.
We're providing fun, student-centered, practical English lessons.

Today, I'd like to write about one of our seven attempts to help students improve their English skills at our English school.
Our school, English Plus, is a small English school, but we're serious about helping our students improve their English skills, and we are trying to provide some supports and several approaches.
There are actually seven approaches we are trying to provide, and today let's check another one of them.
The second one today is about answering questions inside and outside lessons, and giving self-study advice.
In our adult's group lesson, each lesson is 90 minutes and max 4 students in a class.
Our lessons are all original so we don't follow textbooks in our lessons.
All of our lessons are based on our original curriculum so they are practical since they are based on our teaching experience, working experience, traveling abroad experience, and so on.
Since we don't follow textbooks, our students are not required to do lesson preview before each lesson.
Thus, our students usually ask a lot of questions about lesson points and related topics.
Generally, during lessons, we answer the questions, which our students ask us in a class room.
In addition, they have other questions when they do self-study.
In this case, they can ask us directly when we're open and when the staff is available.
Also, when students are not sure about how to do self-study, we can give advice after we hear their purpose of learning English, their life style, and so on.
Therefore, our advice for each student is different.
If they bring and show us their textbooks they own, we check each and give advice on them too.
We don't require our students to buy next textbooks; instead, we recommend the books they already have at home.
Always, questions about English from our students are welcome!
